ACCE has some strategic partnerships and memberships which add connections for CEG members and enable ACCE to promote learning technologies and the work of Australian CEGs internationally and form partnerships for projects and initiatives.
Affiliations and membership
National Education Forum (NEF)
ACCE is a member group of the NEF.
The NEF members are professional associations. The forum provides a networking opportunity for associations and plays an advocacy role on behalf of associations.
Technology Federation of Australia (TEFA)
ACCE is a member group of TEFA.
In TEFA, ACCE promotes learning technology approaches in the Technology KLA and promotes the discipline of Computer Studies as a Technology area of study.
International Society for Technology Education (ISTE)
ACCE is an International affiliate of ISTE.
ACCE has taken a leadership role in supporting ISTE's efforts to develop an International Affiliates structure. An ACCE representative attends ISTE meetings and currently has a position on the ISTE Affiliates executive and the ISTE Board
International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP)
ACCE is affiliated with IFIP through the relationship with ACS.
Through the links with ACS, ACCE has representation on the Technical Committee 3 ( Education) of IFIP. The ACS representative on ACCE is chair of the ACS National Education Computing Committee and represents Australia on TC3. This provides another strategy to promote Australian activity internationally.
