Computers in Education Group of South Australia promotes and supports the use of Information and Communication Technologies to enhance student learning outcomes and the teaching of Information Technology in SA. CEGSA is an association of volunteer teachers.
CEGSA provides support for teachers in effective use of ICT across the curriculum and in teaching senior secondary IT subjects, as well as providing professional development throughout the year for teachers. CEGSA recognises the excellence of the many teachers in the classroom through awards, and provides information to teachers through publications, both print and digital and acts as a lobby group with the three SA educational systems: Department of Education and Children's Services; South Australia (DECS); Association of Independent Schools of South Australia (AISSA); and Catholic Education, South Australia (CESA).
